Only $400? Wish you had asked for money I sure would've contributed $150 just to hear the results.

Rat poison would cause bleeding like you described. Would there be a reason for someone to do this?

But it could have def been anitfreeze/rat poison mix. The sweetness attracts rats and other pests.
Very sorry to hear you had to put him down, My buddy is putting down his golden retriever who he's had for 16 years .. I feel so bad for him but at this point to let the dog live the life he has now is to painful to watch.

I had to put my parents dog down(the dog we got when I was in high school) two years ago. It was sad but painless for him. I can't imagine seeing him in pain bleeding from everywhere. Sucks.

Also could have a leak of brain fluid, or CSF. In humans it can cause delirium, weakness, bleeding from the eyes and ears, and ultimately death. Possible he took a blow to the head?
